This is part of the Vegan Christmas series.
Cranberry sauce, whilst is always served at my family Christmas, isn’t something I’d ever really eat. Mostly I suppose because I’d usually just stick to the veggies. But last Christmas I finally put some on my plate and realised what I’d been missing out on all these years.
I’ve come up with my own recipe for this, although they’re all very similar and so, so easy. I’d really recommend making this just to accompany any main dish you choose to serve. The mixture of sweet and sour compliments each other perfectly, and it’s such a pretty colour it will make a great addition to any Christmas table.
This literally takes no time at all, so it would be easy to do on the dayย as you’re preparingย everything, or the night before and just re-heat on the stove when needed.
I made way too much here for a normal family of 4, and I think this would easily serve at least 8. I suppose it depends on how much you want! You could very easily use as leftovers or freeze it and use it again in the future.
