I was watching the food channel the other day and someone was making a cheesecake. Whilst it has never been one of my favourite desserts (I find it just too rich), I decided I wanted to make my own vegan version, because it’s something I […]
I became vegetarian when I was 11. Prior to that, I wasn’t particularly adventurous with my food, and I really didn’t like fish, so there’s a lot of different things that I simply have never tried before. Smoked salmon is one of them.
We came back from Florida in May after a fab family holiday. I don’t really like eating plane food, so I prefer to take some plane snacks instead. So when we were over there, we headed to Walmart to find some snacks to take with […]
If I’m having chips, they’re never quite right unless they’re completely soaked in vinegar with a sprinkling of salt. It’s the absolute best. Is there anyone that doesn’t like soup? It’s so incredibly versatile and is the perfect meal for when it’s cold and wintery outside and you want something warm and comforting. There are so many options out there, and whilst grabbing a tin from the supermarket is convenient, actually making it yourself is incredibly quick and easy as well.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you’ll have seen the lettuce cup craze. Quite simply it’s when you use a a piece of lettuce in place of a carb, such as a wrap. They’ve been around for a while but it’s not something that I have ever found appealing. As a carb lover, why would you have a piece of lettuce in place of the yummy carb?
